If there's ever more than one character on screen, you can switch between them by tapping on that character's icon. Move around each scene with a virtual crosspad located in the left corner of your screen, and deploy different skills via the action buttons at your right. It's up to you to bring each character to life in its LEGO version, using each of their special attack skills to your best advantage.Īs you might have guessed, LEGO® STAR WARS™: The Force Awakens has a seamless control system that's ready to provide you with hours of fun. Join in on the adventures that started the whole Star Wars trilogy, and meet up with Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, BB-8 and Kylo Ren. But this time around the whole story is turned into a world of LEGOs. Specifically, you get to join up with the whole cast of the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

If you're a fan of either Star Wars or Legos, be sure to give this demo a look.LEGO® STAR WARS™: The Force Awakens is an action game where you follow along on the adventures of the über-famous epic Star Wars saga. After you've finished the mission, you can switch among 10 characters and explore the federation ship at your leisure. There's a special thrill in using telekinesis to rearrange Lego doors and contraptions into new objects, not to mention throwing small droids willy-nilly. Attack or defend with one key, then use another for special moves, which for the Jedis involves the Force. The controls are keyboard-based, logical, and different for each character. Don't worry: Jar Jar is nowhere to be seen-yet.

In the mission, you control Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the silver android that looks like C-3PO (yes, I know it's TC-14) through the beginning scenes of The Phantom Menace. The demo consists of one short mission from the full game and an exploratory mode. What is surprising is how much fun Lego Star Wars offers, with the ability to switch among a wide variety of characters from the prequel trilogy, including the oft-maligned yet flexible Jar Jar Binks. It's not surprising someone combined the story and settings of the geek-tacular Star Wars franchise with the nerd-licious Lego aesthetic.
